Digital Art

Melis's digital art is drawn on iPad, in an anime-inspired style. Each illustration starts as a sketch and is built up layer by layer with line work, color and light.

Some pieces are character portraits, others are full scenes with their own atmosphere and story – from quiet moments to dramatic ones, sometimes with dialogue written into the picture like a page from a comic.
